Hi all, welcome to this weeks blog, apologies for the break last week but don’t worry there is plenty to talk about this week. First of all big congrats to Dan & Amy, they have finally moved into their new house, Amy is very excited as their new residence features a built in cat flap so if Dan forgets his key he will still be able to get in, genius.
Also this week we learned that any, that’s right any Ford Key, will lock any that’s right any, Ford car, amazing, thanks Trigger.
Also for those who were not at training on Tuesday, you have a treat in store, all I’m gonna say is haircut?
So after losing the week before 1-0 to Wilderpark is was very important for us to put in a good performance against Hildenborough. Even before the match everyone was up for it, even the two mile walk to their changing rooms didn’t unsettle us as it meant we didn’t even need to warm up. I don’t know if it was the flat pitch, the short grass or the Brand New Kit Bag that Daz was carrying but there was a real buzz amongst the lads. As we sat in the changing room awaiting the unveiling of the new ‘change’ kit, it was like waiting to see if Santa had delivered your favourite present. As the kit was dished out, so were the instructions.
1. Take care of it.
2. Hand it back at the end of the
match, all of it. (Jamie)
3. Wear it with pride.
4. Don’t get it dirty.
Well I could go on about the new kit for the whole blog, as Aaron would say ‘the new socks are well Sik!!!!’
or as Mick put it ‘those socks fit f*****g lovely’, either way we all agreed the new kit was awesome.
It obviously worked as well, the new partnership of Benny Ratfield & Wing Commander Dickie Bryce, worked really well with both getting on the score sheet twice & Knighty getting the fifth, we could of had a couple more, if Ollie’s pace hadn’t put him offside & Pete hadn’t somehow sliced wide from 5 yards!!! Still a 5-1 goal fest that featured some very good, positive, but also very enjoyable football, well done everyone, players, coaches, manager, supporters, kids, a great day for all.
Then it was back to the Black to discuss our superiority, talk about
our new kit & to eat nuclear fired pizza that quite honestly would have melted anything in its way, this was proved when some filling slid off a slice, hit the floor & started smoking.
So this week it’s league leaders AW, played 7, won 7, are we scared?? No we’re not, we have the nicest kit in the league & we are on a roll, let’s take some points off them lads, three points, Green Army!!!!
Take Care Sweets Love Mikey
